A User Review Of The New Ipad

By Cam Stedson

By now, almost everyone has heard of the Apple iPad 2, yet many people still aren't quite sure what it does. One reason for this is that it has such a long list of features that you have to study it for a while to become familiar with all of them. At the same time, iPads aren't right for everyone, and in this review we'll help you figure out if it's something you should consider.

The Ipad tablet already has lots of supporters thanks to all of the features it offers. It doesn't have the exact same applications as the Apple iphone (such as mobile phone tracking software) but it sure gives you a lot of options!

In any kind of portable device, battery life is a serious issue, as you may not always be in a place where you can plug it in. One of the conveniences of good battery in something something like an iPad is you don't have to bother about plugging it in if you don't want to. The battery life of the original iPad was 10 hours, which is quite impressive considering all the things you can do on it. Offering added RAM and additional features such as a camera, the iPad 2 still has about the same amount of battery life and there are some tests that say it is a bit longer. If you want to watch a few videos without having to plug it in or are taking your iPad on a long plane ride, this is extremely convenient.

One of the best features offered in the iPad is its backlit LED display. Although your smartphone might allow you to access the web and may perform a variety of tasks, it can't give you the bright vivid images of the 9.7 inch high resolution display that the iPad offers. The backlighting means that you'll have no trouble viewing the display even if you're in an area without much light. With its automatic adjusting, the display can be viewed from any angle, regardless of how it is being held. When you're watching videos, looking at photos or

You, though, might find it easier to use the iPad after you've purchased an iPad specific stylus. Even though the iPad isn't capable of doing things that your computer or smart phone cannot do, plenty of users quite like the convenience of the Multi Touch and think that it is easier to use and a lot more intuitive than your usual mouse or touch pad.

The cameras are nice, sure, but you probably already have cameras in other devices. So if you purchased an original iPad, you might wish that you had waited for the Apple iPad 2 but you don't have to feel that bad because you aren't going to be forced to live without something that you can't live without...so to speak. Hours of entertainment including listening to MP3s, watching videos, reading digital books or chatting with friends can be provided with the Apple iPad 2 device. On the other hand, it does have its limitations, such as no flash support and no SD card slot. If you want a portable device to do some serious work on, you're probably better off with a notebook or laptop.
