By Ben Harper

Given its popularity among consumers in diverse locations across the world, Samsung has a huge market share that it has managed to establish over the years with the young generation being their target consumers. Over time, Samsung phones have grown popular due to their consistency in delivering quality products and improving them so as to give their consumers better experiences with each model.

In comparison to other brands, Samsung is arguably the best mobile phone in the market at the moment as they possess some of the best features. For instance, the latest model being Samsung galaxy S5; it is in many ways better than iPhone 5s which is also a popular brand that makes millions of sales. Even though they are both smart mobile phones, they have distinctive features that are suitable to different consumers.

To begin with, the S5 model uses android 4.4.2 as its operating system while the 5s has IOS for an operating system. Android is known to the most preferred operating system as they have lots of apps than any other operating system. Moreover, 4.4.2 version is the latest one which means one gets to have access to all apps as they all are compatible.

At this day and age, the younger generation seems to prefer phones that are as big as tablet so it can be easy to browse the internet and chatting with their friends. The S5 model is 5.1 inches big with the screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels while on the other hand, the iPhone is in a smaller size of 4 inches with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels.

The cameras both the rear and the front one are critical as most people want to constantly take pictures and share with the friends as a way of updating them on their lives. In this regard, Samsung has gone to another level as they have installed a rear camera of 16 megapixels and 2.1 megapixel front camera which is arguably impressive when comparing with most gadgets in the markets.

A strong and advanced processor is critical in which case Samsung has again delivered by ensuring that its speed is on point and consumers do not have to stuck in the middle of important business where this gadget hangs. To this regards, they have a quad core processor while their competitor iPhone 5s has a dual core processor that is good but not as advanced as the quad core.

In additional size of the internal memory is important as consumers need to be able to install various apps without fearing that the memory will be filled, and also store some of their favorite songs, videos, photos and basically personal stuff that they want to carry them around. It is critical to also have an extendable memory system whereby one can use microSD to boost the memory size.

In conclusion, battery life plays a crucial role in the choices people make when it comes to choosing the brand they want; for this, the galaxy S5 has a talk time of 21 hours and a standby time of 390 hours, a very arguable competitive feature. This ensures that one can go an entire day without charging them and only do so at the end of the day.
