It is for this reason that there is need to undertake Ricoh copy machine repair. There are various problems that bring about these malfunctions, and at the same time, there are a number of ways to rectify such problems.

Among the most common problems that are experienced by almost all users is paper jams. This comes from dirt, using the wrong type of paper or if the rollers feeding the equipment are worn out. Undertake cleaning of the equipment to get rid of dirt and especially dust particles that may have stuck. Additionally, occasionally replace the rollers and use only the specified type of paper.

Another problem experienced is faded printouts. The product might come out as not uniform where some of the items are clear while others are entirely invisible. It is due to low ink which makes it insufficient for the work. The set density might be way too low to produce visible items. Resent the density after refilling the toners to enable printing of clear items.

During the production, ghosting can be experienced. When an image other than the one that is supposed to appear on the pieces does, this is what is referred to as ghosting. Check the power outlet that is being used. Remove the piece of equipment and fix another if the same is experienced after that then the problem is with the power source which should be changed.

Another thing that is commonly witnessed is the production of items that when touched after being made are easily erased, or ink smears all over. The source of this is the presence of a spillage inside. It can also be as a result of the toner being faulty which means it is getting too much ink. Clean the spillages that might have happened and change the cartridges.

It is also a common thing to have a 50.4 error message appearing in the middle of their working. The reason behind this is the use of a UPS source of power instead of a direct socket connection. It requires quite an amount of power for the heating and general operation which means that it will not be functional when connected on a UPS instead of the direct connection.

Printing from a tray other than the specified or intended one is also a common problem. Occasionally, there might be a jam where it ends up picking papers from the wrong source, and this creates confusion and even printing of wrong item specifications. It originates from the settings either on the PC or those that are set on them.

In conclusion, lines may appear on the final piece. It may be as a result of having dust on the scanner glass, drum malfunction and issues with the users. Resolve this by cleaning the mirror with some soft cloth occasionally to eliminate dust and solid particles. It can also be rectified through removing and replacing the issue that is causing this condition and advisably consult an expert to do these replacements.
